Ålesund

In Brunholmen, Ålesund’s “art district”, there is a small gallery, quite different from what you find in other cities in Norway. Galleri cylindra shows a small exhibition of thought-provoking, yet extremely functional wood sculptures, like chairs, cabinets, tables and key-boxes. This gallery is different from the one in Tusvik. The gallery is open every day in the summer season. From October to April, only Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. 12.am to 4 p.m.
In Brunholmen you will also find other galleries, glassblowers, antique shops, hotels, restaurants and cafes.
